Cool Pants
Semma hot machi!!! The summer is on and the mercury is rising all the time. With such a climate, what would you like to wear?
Well...here's something from Van Heusen. Introducing '
Cool Pants' from Van Heusen which uses the same technology used by astronauts of NASA to cope with extreme temperatures in space. As you feel floating in space, read more about the technology that is used to achive this.
'Cool Pants' will keep the wearers cool in summer, although the temperature outside may be pushing the very limits of thermometer. The fabric is treated at a molecular level by a special technology called Smart Fabric Technology, the patented technology from US-based Outlast Technologies. The technology in the trousers has the power to absorb coolness from the atmosphere and retain it. As a result when when the wearer steps out into a much more warmer environment then earlier (say an air-conditioned office) these trousers release all the coolness back to the person. Sounds great, isn't it? Van Heusen claims that the trousers retains the unique property through for at least 35 washes.
Here's another interesting thing to note. The 'Cool Pants' technology works similar to rechargeable batteries and they need to be charged in an airconditioned environment for them to take on the heat.
Priced at Rs 1,599, 'Cool Pants' are available in ten different shades and come in various fits.
With 'Cool Pants' on, I hope one can feel more comfortable and confident in anything one does as they are being looked after
under the surface.
